Festivals are, for a few days each year, a totally intense burst of enjoyment and excitment for me. I get to not only see people I only see each year at festivals and have many happy memories with, but also live with them. It's mad. I generally don't go to festivals for the music, my taste in music is better catered for in a club than a field, but just the whole atmosphere of a big festival like Glastonbury is memorising. There's also a huge fringe area, like the size of a town, full of my kind of people. Vegan food? No problem, there's dozens of places for me to eat. Fire performers? Tonnes.

Festivals are pretty much the main highlight of my year, here's a list of a few I've been to so far.

Kingston Green Fair 1999
Glastonbury 1999
Strawberry Fair 1999
Megadog Total Eclipse 1999
Ambient Green Picnic 1999
Guildford Live 1999
Kingston Green Fair 2000
Glastonbury 2000
Ambient Green Picnic 2000
Guildford Live 2000
Guildford Live 2001
Ambient Green Picnic 2002
Guilfest 2002
Ambient Green Picnic 2003
Guilfest 2003
Ambient Green Picnic 2004
Guilfest 2004
Kingston Green Fair 2005
Play Festival 2005

I've got a whole bag full of camera films containing pictures taken at festivals, which have been waiting to be developed for years. I'm having a bit of a moral dilema over their fate too. On one hand they contain pictures of some of my happiest memories. On the other hand, since I took them I've converted to veganism, and for the same reason that I ditched my beloved SLR and bought a digital camera, photographic film is not vegan. Whatever happens they have long outlived their expiry date whilst i've been making up my mind, so by now they are probably little more than an over exposed blur.
